Seminar
This Videotape in the Legal Environment seminar will set you on your way to videotaping depositions and courtroom proceedings with confidence and skill and in accordance with accepted Rules of Civil Procedure.  With the demand for legal video services growing nationwide, and as recognition of the CLVS designation increases, you won’t want to miss this program!
Attending this seminar is the first step in the 3-step certification process to becoming a CLVS.

Prerequisite:  Prior knowledge of basic videography concepts is useful before enrolling in this seminar.

Forum
The CLVS Legal Video Forum is currently the only opportunity available for continuing education in the legal video arena.  The forum offers three tracks, and you can choose the one that fits your level of expertise or interest.  You can also bounce from track to track so that you attend the sessions you are most interested in.

  • Track A has been designed for videographers who are interested in refreshing their knowledge with equipment set-up and operation, unity gain procedures, conducting mock depositions, and calibration techniques.  This track offers limited hands-on opportunities with video equipment.
  • Track B is for the intermediate videographer interested in learning about marketing, a settlement brochure, and much more.
  • Track C will feature a day-long training program on two trial presentation software packages and has been designed for experienced/advanced videographers.
