&lt;p&gt;Washington state reporter Jennifer Lewis, RPR, responded to the October &lt;em&gt;JCR&lt;/em&gt; cover story, &amp;quot;Confronting Digital Recording.&amp;quot; She wrote, in part: &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;How is it &amp;quot;confronting&amp;quot; digital recording when it sounds as if NCRA is welcoming electronic reporting operators? Or is an electronic &amp;quot;reporting&amp;quot; operator different than a &amp;quot;recording&amp;quot; operator? Or is &amp;quot;electronic&amp;quot; not as threatening as &amp;quot;digital&amp;quot;? Either way it&amp;rsquo;s confusing. &amp;hellip;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;One of my biggest clients is going to FTR Gold for two of their hearing rooms, which demotes me to their transcriptionist. Could I fight this? I suppose, but obviously neither NCRA nor any other agency can fight this (or chooses not to fight this), so why should I? &lt;/p&gt;
