In Oakland County, technology has permeated all levels of the legal system. Courts allow the submission of electronic documents and testimony via video. In addition, electronic police reports are now the norm. The courts introduced an e-filing pilot program in 2007 and most courts utilize audio-video systems that produce the official record.
