My index consists of witnesses and exhibits. Re the exhibits, I have a column for the letter or number of the exhibit, a column for the description and two more columns, one for marked for identification and one for received in evidence.

I rarely mark exhibits all at once. I enter the exhibits one at a time. They are marked for identification on one page and then further in the transcript they will be received into evidence.

I have no problem with the information lining up in the correct rows and cells when I enter an exhibit for identification. By the way, I do this through hidden text, not the enter index entries feature. The problem occurs when I subsequently try to enter the exhibit received. The information I select to carry to the index page gets entered on it's on row on the page. I don't know if the problem is in the transcript or in the index template.

Our goal was to have one reporter scope and listen to the AudioSync on the laptop receiving the realtime feed while the other reporter wrote on the Mira A3. We had a trial run in the courtroom yesterday only to discover that, first, the router may be defective and, second, that apparently we are unable to listen to the AudioSync while also inputting the realtime.

We have the wireless kit installed on the Mira A3, just for additional information, as well as the latest version of CATalyst Version 9.

Does anybody know of a way this can be done once we receive a new router from Stenograph and hope that this one works, as the trial begins Monday?

Just trying to get the word out that Depoman.com has not ceased to be, nor has anyone's account been suspended (including my own). The hosting company where the board resides has never been the most solid, but they seem to be having more issues than normal this weekend. I'm working to resolve it, and hopefully we'll be back up and running before too long.

I think possibly all the Bill Parsons posts might have pushed the server load over the brink.

*S making "caps on"

Hello. I just posted a question regarding Case CAT keyboard shortcuts, but I have another question about something different here

When I write "dentists," I think it's after I stroke the the *S/S that everything after that is all capital letters.

In reveal codes it looks like this: Dentists<delete space><all caps off>s<all caps on>ARE VERY...

Can someone please tell me what I need to redefine/undefine/smash with a hammer to get this to stop?

Thanks,

Greetings. I
installed Case CATalyst the other day and am going through the Learn to Use
book.

The problem I'm
having is keyboard shortcuts that are programmed into the software don't appear
to work, like F8 for searching between untranslates. CTRL + D or J works
for defining, CTRL + F works for find, but most of the others aren't
responding appropriately, mainly the F-keys,

Can someone please
tell me what settings I need to change to make these shortcuts work? I
have looked under the Windows Control Panel - Keyboard, but there is nothing
apparent that needs changing.

Thanks!
