I am an Eclipse user of about a year and a half, maybe two.  I still feel so new, but I love it.  Glad to see y'all here.

Hi, Joe, Brenda, Tori, Misty, Jenny and Sue!  Well, we have a nice little group started here.

Misty, I see you're from Sioux City, Iowa.  I used to live in Sioux Falls South Dakota, went to court reporting school there at the Stenotype Institute of South Dakota.  A lot of people would travel over to Sioux City.  Did you grow up there?

Sue, if you'd like to remove the numbers next to your name, go to Edit Profile, Tab Site Options -- make sure enable display is checked.  Then go to Tab About, and you can remove them -- or type in a nickname -- or whatever you like.

Well, I must go.  Have a depo must need to get out.

Thank you for the tip, I was trying to figure that out, Wynne.  I'm going to see if I did the right thing.

Hi, Barb!  Welcome to our little group!  I see you're from Edison, NJ.  Is that anywhere near Princeton?  My grandfather worked at the Bell Labs there -- I think it was near Princeton.

Me, too. I hope we get activity in this new forum. We never had much on the old site, and I think it's because people actually had to go to another page. Wynne, are you the one who wanted to start a humorous section on another forum? Just in case you are, I wanted to share with you a bumper sticker I saw on a car the other day that maybe other folks see from time to time, but I never have. Hopefully I'm not misquoting. Hi, Judy!  Oh, that is HILARIOUS!   Haven't heard one that good in a long time!

Yes, I'm the same one.  Joe calls me "Blue Wynne"......you can see why!

    Re: other eclipse people

     Hi Wynne, et al.,

I only came to this forum because of the brouhaha over WavText.  (Just what is Mary Jo advertising, btw?)  Now that I'm here, just wanted to say hey and that Judy's bumper sticker reminded me of another one someone might want to give to Runfola.  It said:

"Jesus loves you.  Everyone else thinks you're an a**hole."

Don't know if that will get me bumped off this forum, but even if not, I won't be hanging out nearly as much here as the Eclipse forum.

    Take care, Blue Wynne/Black Wynne.

Howdy.  I'm also an Eclipse user.  Love it most of the time, except when realtime freezes up or an optimized file goes from 300 pages to 12.  Realtime 100%, wouldn't dream of using another system.  Started out on StenoCAT but switched to Eclipse because of the constant switching of windows in StenoCAT from the "realtime window" to the "edit window."  What attracted me to Eclipse to start with was staying on that ONE window to realtime AND edit.  Write my own macros and edit from the keyboard (but I may still refer to Smart Keys instead of Hyperkeys).
