I've had this come up before, but can't remember what I did. When they talk about "the pill" as in the contraceptive, is "pill" capitalized, i.e. the Pill? TIA, MJ

Just my opinion... I would not cap it.

Hi, Misty! According to my Webster's dictionary, the word "pill" is "often capped" when used with the word "the" and when it refers to an oral contraceptive. So you can probably go either way and be right. Mary Anne

Thanks Misty and Mary Anne, Never thought to look in the dictionary for that. I ended up not capping it. Next time, though, I may cap. Thanks again, MJ
