Let's have the board cut unnecessary wasteful expenses by eliminating the Action Locator for the JCR Court Reporter Listings

That's interesting, Bill.  I never knew that actual production page costs were $400 in March 1998.  I remember when Chuck and I used to have a full-page display ad, the charge was more than our home mortgage cost had been!  It was worthwhile to us, though, so we continued it for quite some time.  I can't imagine what a full-page ad costs nowadays, especially with color.  Readership goes down and costs go up.  Then advertisers are paying a lot more for a lot less viewing of their ads.  I'm sure it's a very difficult situation for NCRA as well as for the advertisers.

Re: Overly generous NCRA board of directors in giving bargain basement prices for JCR Court Reporter Listing ads

So the Action Locator simply gives us the page numbers for where the Reporter Listings are in the JCR and it is immediately before the beginning of the Reporter Listings, which doesn't make sense to have, the Action Locator.  I enjoy looking at the Court Reporter Listings and know where they are in the JCR, so I don't need the Action Locator to tell me to turn the next page to start looking at the Court Reporter Listings.  Of course, someone could say that you look at the Action Locator to tell you specifically what page to turn to in the Reporter Listings section for a particular state and ad, but that is kind of a waste of money, especially since it doesn't take that long to flip through the Reporter Listings section.

    Just my 2 cents' worth.
