The dancing was definitely fun. There must have been something with that black beret I was wearing......or, it was probably having my great friend Linda Kaiser, as well as Judy Lehman, to help me get going. Adam was great except he kept trying to lead. Lololol
Seriously, all kidding aside, I did dance a lot bt not nearly the dance that Karen Yates put on with the 10 X 10 speech and serving notice that we are professionals. Class, class, class act all the way around, Madam President.
Kathy DiLorenzo, beautiful job and congrats on your year.
To the four candidatea, Donna, Tami, Melanie and Jason, you-all each were perfect examples of the definition of professionalism and class. Each of you had the qualities to serve and it is unfortunate that all of you couldn't have a position on the board. I think everyone agrees that we would have been happy regardless of which side won those races. Again, class, class, class and dignity.
I made a lot of new friends - and I mean that sincerely - and put a llot of faces with emails.
Overall, while it may not have been the largest convention ever, it sure was fun being there.
And the Staff did a wonderful job of doing what they could to make everything appar to run smoothly.
I'm honored to be a member of NCRA and I hope that we can now go about doing the business of what our profession is about. We are one of a kind and the cream of the crop.

The grass is greener on the other side of the fence....because you're not taking care of your yard.
