    Yes, Adam.  Lily Munster!

    Phil,

I need to change it up a bit depending on my mood.   Couldn't find chopped liver.  ;)

Okay, I got my characters wrong, at least I got the right show.  I think I only watched it a handful of times when my boys were little (called parent-child bonding).  They're now 32 and 30.

I still like your original looks better, Lillian.  As for  liver -- that's not good for you, not healthy.  Yet as a kid, I remember my mom saying I should eat it 'cause it's good for you (has iron?  I took a magnet to it, nothing happened.)  Regular liver, I didn't like, even with bacon; but chopped liver --- hmmmmmgood!

I aim to please, my dear.

I think (depends on the governor, and incentives) I only have a few more weeks of officialdom left.  Actually, it's probably less than four, since one week is taken up to get rid of my 32-year-old, he'll be off my payroll by the end of this month, and he's all HERS.  I'll be giving him away August 23rd. no refunds.  By then I should've put in my retirement papers.  I'll freelance then, work when I wanna work.

    Congrats, Phil!!

I love freelancing.  I do work a whole heck of a lot, though.  But *most* of the time is when I want to.  For example, I LOATHE early morning deps.  Even 9:00 is too early for me.  Those I won't touch unless I'm shorthanded.  No one else objects. I'd much rather go out later in the day.  And the farther I can drive away from the county in which I live, the happier I am!!   And I take zoning hearings and preliminary hearings too.  UGH to the zonings, but I enjoy the plims.

I "officialled" for 22 years.  Been freelancing now for 11.  I enjoyed my officialship too, though.

I used to do the zoning, planning board, etc.  Good money, hard tedious work, and borning.  Finally gave it up.  Starting in October I'll do mostly justice court cases (DWIs, probation/parole violations, petit larceny, felony arrraignments) mostly night work.  There are about 5 town justices here who I'm kinda friendly with, I've worked with two of them, I'm sure they'll take me back. That should be enuf woik to keep me out of trouble.  I'm not a morning person either, so the night work would be okay.  And, the best part is, not one court is more than 10 miles from home.  No more driving of 100 miles a day to have to put up  with a sarcastic, demeaning (at times) judge.
