Mr. Golden has served as the chief staff officer for NCRA since 1998. He has worked in the association field for more than 25 years, holding key staff roles at A Presidential Classroom for Young Americans, Associated Telemessaging Services International, and the Personal Communications Industry Association before coming to NCRA.
Long active in his own professional association, the American Society of Association Executives, he is currently chairman of its research and education foundation, the Center for Association Leadership.
An avid opera fan, Mr. Golden lives with his wife on a small horse farm outside of Washington, DC in Clifton, Virginia. They have a grown son, who is currently serving as Chief of Staff to Virginia Delegate David Englin.
