A little addition. This was a very painful budget recommendation during my last Board meeting. Sherri has been in both sessions, found it to be extremely helpful, and that put a bit more of a personal touch on it. Nevertheless, given the very tough budget year, there was universal agreement. The history of direct member voting as I remember it. Early 2000s, members voiced objections that in the age of information, NCRA's business (Bylaws, elections) was controlled by those very few who attended the business meeting. The Board then (I wasn't on it) apparently took those comments seriously and explored the notion of online voting
